Lea Fuerer a martial art athlete, personal trainer, and psychology student.
Bruce Lee once said, “If you always put a limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there; you must go beyond them.”
I am super happy to let you know that I will try to find out how athletes train their minds?
For this topic, I invited a martial art athlete, personal trainer, and psychology student, Lea Fuerer.
Mental training in athletics means preparing the mind to help you perform at your best, mentally, and physically. Mental factors such as confidence, focus, self-belief, and motivation are crucial to athletic performance.
Today we talk about:
- what is mental training?
- what is "box breathing."
- the positivity of thoughts
- mental imaginary
- how can we overcome loneliness
- Lea gave a simple breath exercise to overcome our fear and anxiety
And so many more topics that I had the honor to speak with Lea.
Please find below Lea's favorite books list:
Ryan Holiday & Stephen Hanselmann: The Daily Stoic
James Nestor: Breath
Gary John Bishop: Unfu*k yourself
Sun Tzu: The Art of War
Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt: Oscar and the Lady in Pink
Kate Northrup: Do less
Nelson Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom
I really hope that this special interview helps you learn how you can train your mind similar to an athlete and never give up to break your limits.
